Oct. 7, 2013 - Enel Green Power has connected to the grid its "Colibasi" photovoltaic plant, located in Giurgiu county in south-eastern Romania.

With a total installed capacity of 6.5MW, the new, operating plant will be able to generate up to about 8 million KWh of power each year, meeting the annual energy requirements of some 7 thousand Romanian households.

The clean energy generated by the Colibasi plant will avoid the atmospheric emission of about 4 thousand tonnes of CO2 a year.
