PSEG Solar sees 25.2MW Arizona solar project reach commercial operation

PSEG Solar Source advised that its 25.2MW DC (19MW AC) Queen Creek Solar Farm has reached commercial operation. Located in Queen Creek, Arizona, the solar plant is built on 148 acres of land and uses nearly 90,000 crystalline solar panels, which operate on a single axis tracking system.

PSEG Solar Source owns the plant, for which Salt River Project holds a 20-year agreement to buy all of the energy it produces. juwi solar developed the solar plant and served as the EPC contractor for the installation. The company will provide operation and maintenance services for the Queen Creek project.
